Edmundson named to 2014 Walsh Transition Committee

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, December 4, 2013 – Phil Edmundson, CEO and Chairman of William Gallagher Associates (“WGA”), has been named to the Walsh 2014 Transition Committee. Boston Mayor-elect Martin J. Walsh is set to take office in January and has called on a diverse team of leaders including many from the business community. Mr. Edmundson will serve on the Public Health Committee.

Mr. Edmundson is the Chairman and CEO of William Gallagher Associates, and the current Chairman of The Alliance for Business Leadership. He also serves as a Director of the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers (CIAB), in Washington, D.C. and a Trustee of the Trustees of Reservations. He also serves as Overseer on the boards of Boston Symphony Orchestra and Trustee of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
