WGA Among Boston Companies to sign “100% Talent: the Boston Women’s Compact” in Closing Gender Wage Gap

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, October 31, 2013 – William Gallagher Associates (“WGA”) was among the companies to sign the “100% Talent: the Boston Women’s Compact” to close the gender wage gap at a ceremony earlier today.

WGA joined Mayor Menino and 38 other area firms at City Hall to sign the compact, signifying a commitment to examining the wage gap for women in the city, and outlined a set of common beliefs and goals that employers will embrace to address the gap.

A report released by The Women’s Commission shows that, among other findings, women working full-time in Boston earn an estimated $380k less than a man over the course of a 40 year career.
